What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? vt...I have a daughter graduating from high school this June and turning 18 in August. She has two brothers. They live with their dad. I pay child support. My question is do I have to modify to lower or does the office of child support lower it? Or does it just stay the same until the other kids reach the age of 18? thanks

I was not rude. I was put on the defense. I am asking a legitimate question. So I will stick to the question and not allow "some" to belittle or cause to belittle the reasons I am here. Ty...anyways..the 3 children live with dad. There ages are 15, 16 and 18 this August. My question is "am i suppose to modify on my own, or since the OCS handles our case do they modify?" Or..does the amount stay the same until all the kids are adults. thanks

Well, tell you guys what....you find all the threads where I was rude, belittling towards any member...then we can compare how many threads claim "this is a hostile forum" from remarks made by you.. K? I can find many many remarks in this forum which slammed many newbies...and oldies. This forum when I first came on was informative and quite refreshing. Now its foundation is based upon judging, belittling, finding fault and bullying. I guess I did not realize that this forum allows this type of behavior towards other fellow human beings. Maybe its the economy, maybe its just that everyone is bored and uses others as an outlet. I have no clue. Just so sad it has changed so much....God bless and hope your days get better. Faith

Yes, it was the Christmas Bonus thread, where she DID delete some posts. In fact, the one that said she would never come back here again, and tell all her friends (like all 2 of them) not to come here either. I remember telling her that there was no need to tell her friends never to come here, she asked questions for all her friends already. Good riddance. With all this suing she's doing/wants to do, she should have an attorney on retainer.

I have never sued one person my entire life....I have only had one employment case which was settled. I did say that I would never come back, but changed my mind since some of the posters in here I like and respect. You on the other hand "CourtClerk have to find old threads...insult others...and get your gang of self righteous do gooders to find and prove your own self centered motto of I am right and you are wrong and I will prove it. Your right this forum sucks...I can take time out of my day to find hundreds of your deletes and name calling tactics. I guess the forums new motto keeping people like you should be "Stupid is as Stupid does.

However, if this forum sucks, then you won't be asking anymore questions... now will you? I, along with the others would hate to have you subjected to suck a sucky forum. Yet another statement we will be sure to remind everyone you said, when you go asking yet another question about who you (or someone you know) can sue and why.

Your best course of action is to request via whatever method CSE prefers, that the case be reevaluated based on child 1 aging out of the order - presuming, of course that CS stops at 18 in VT.

Bear in mind that this does NOT mean CS will be LOWERED - it could, in fact, go UP depending on how long it's been since last modified/how incomes have changed since, etc.
