Thanks
First I want to say thank you. The post has allowed my to come full circle. What is difficult is when this first happened I told my husband he will never be allowed back in our home. However, after months of being told he will be ok to come home I became immune to the severity. So thank you for reminding me and bringing it back to the front burner. I agree he shouldn't be living in my home or her home. SO the next question WHAT can my husband do to make sure that happens. How do we get CASA/GAL for the children especially the victim. Like I said our case worker is clueless.
There is one other piece of information that I remembered when discussing this today with a friend. I don't know if there is anything my husband can do with this information, so again we need guidance.
Between the time of arraignment and the hearing his mother gave my some extremely disturbing information. She had been speaking with her other son asking if anything had ever happened before. Her son (the victim) told her that his brother had pulled his pants down and asked him to perform "you know what". She told me that she wasn't going to report this to anyone because she didn't want her oldest son to get in any more trouble. I asked my stepson about it and he admitted it, but never told anyone else. Is there anyone that we should give this info to?
This thread has make me realize that his mother is keeping this info quiet which means neither the victim or the offender is recieving help for it.
So....if we don't want him back in our home and we don't think he should be around any children what do we do?
Thank you!
