The site does say

So if the device does not work with a Volvo that is OBDII or EOBV IV+ compliant, he has a case for misrepresentation.
I *am* curious as to what the exact message he gets is.

I am thinking that since he is so adamant that he ONLY bought the cable, he ...ahem... acquired the software elsewhere.

But, let's say he DOES have a case. He has already indicated that he has no intention of filing suit in AZ...so it's moot.

Thanks guys for your help I do appreciate it. Also I learned a lesson I assumed that I could return the cable if it didn't work for me within the time frame but unfortunately I give up, sell it on Ebay or something. It's just that this is one of those cases where they know they are right and just don't care about a customer and their satisfaction, they even would have made money on me because they would charge restocking fee. Anyway thanks again.
