It's not so much me when I pick them up they tell me about everything. I just simply state that this is my time and we won't talk about it the rest of the weekend. That usually works but when they bring him up I try to change the subject.

I call them at night and the first thing the 5 years old say's is "daddy he quit his job". Then I say Oh well and change the subject as fast as I can.

So there's no proof that he represents a risk to the kids.

Sorry, I realize that isn't what you want to hear but it is the reality.

You can ask for a "no paramour" clause to be put in place while the divorce is going through, but this won't prevent him from being around the kids - only from staying over while the kids are present.

So file for divorce and get started on that.

Actually a no paramour clause can prevent romantic partners from being around the children while the divorce is pending. I have gotten them so it is possible.
