All I can say that when I was in junior school in England (I can't remember offhand which US grade would be equivalent), 10 and 11 year olds were not uncommonly sexually active in some way shape or form, whether it's messing around or actually going further than experimentation.

It's not a good thing. But it's reality.

That said, it's really not the point. The point is, we're doing homework.

Two sexually active 10 yr olds are not uncommon in a school. So you are assuming she was raped by a ten year old. She could be just as guilty of raping a 10 yr old boy and deserve the same punishment.

I would also agree that maybe 11 year olds are thinking of becoming sexually active, based on the government recommendations for the HPV vaccine. And you know, 11 year olds are in middle school, which certainly makes them more exposed to hormonal pre teens. But ten? I'm going to say rare. And so does the government.

It did. It provided the age at which statistically, the government recommends getting a shot that girls should get before they are sexually active. They didn't say ten, they said 11 or 12 is prior to when girls are sexually active. Can you read? Or do you stick to the high class "[email protected]???"

Except your data never talked about 10-19 as anything other than an age range for adolescents. Not once in the article did it discuss them (anything under 14) being sexually active. And your article was from 2004. Mine was 2011 data.

No, they weren't having sex or babies to a statistical degree. There may have been outliers, like all the frisky ten year olds you know.
