Your "friend" does have a right to free association under the 1st amendment (I believe decided by NAACP v. Alabama).
Your "friend" can associate with murderers, child rapists, and known drug dealers.
The Court or officers of the Court can determine whether the 'friends' choices present harm or potential harm to the minor child involved.
Then it comes down to your "friend's" choice.
I concur with the other posters. If you are truly a friend, and she has been warned that associating with you could have ramifications on her relationship with her child, then as her friend, you should probably get lost.
