I'm Back----mistake or not?

I allowed my child to go with his dad. Of course like I keep saying my child was nervouse, scared, shaking, depressed, he absolutely DID NOT want to go. I gave my ex his anti-depressants and his anxiety medications.

Now, my ex filed a motion to change custody because the prescription on the bottle said it was prescribed in 2010 and should be discarded in 2011. The point he's trying to make is my child didn't get on his meds when I stated he did in court and I am an incompetant mother for giving him medication that should be discarded. Except, yes my son did have to get on it before my ex wanted to start seeing his son but he didn't have to take them anymore until recently when he started having to see him. His symptoms only come when he has to visit his father. Can he get custody because of this even though the DR prescribed it to him? Also, when my son came back from his visit, he had a bruise on his leg and said my ex's "other son" kicked him, and he said when they were wrestling he got hit in the face. I consider it to be dangerous for my son to continue visits with his father since it's beginning to look like they are not adult supervised since he allowed bruises to appear on my son. I have not let him continue his visits and he is also taking me for contempt but I am looking out for m son's best interest!

Yes. You made a huge parental and medical blunder by giving your child expired medication.

Based on the posted fact that "mom" is giving a script that was expired in 2011, she is not giving the child his med's as prescribed. A huge medical blunder. Antidepressants should NOT be ...messed...with.

I don't know much of your background story or age of your son, but boys get bruises. And these bruises seem to be from admitted wrestling. (which boys do quite frequently) How can you be so sure that these horse play injuries resulted when there was no supervision? HOw old is your son?

The medication for anxiety is promethazine, it expired in 2011 but the Dr said it's fine because due to going back with his father he needs these meds. My ex i trying to say that this was prescribed to him prior to us going to court. The other drug for depression is citalopram. My son is 7 years old. That one hasn't expired though just the promethazine.

A 'discard by' date is NOT the same thing as an expiration date for the actual medication.

Well my son also stated that during the time my ex's "wife" "accidently" hit him in the face!!!!!!!!! I fully believe there was no adult supervision since this is mysteriously happening and bruising are occuring
