Ok nevermind. CPS getting involved isn't legal.

Violating the part of the court order that says, "Neither parent shall speak disparagingly about the other parent," isn't legal.

Violating the part of the court order that says, "Communication between both parties should only concern the child," isn't legal.
Have fun in front of the Jude and spending money,er an earfuls.

Unfortunately there are a large number of people in the world who are like that. Sometimes its learned behavior because one of their parents was either that way or indulged them to the point that they never learned "cause and effect", and sometimes they are just wired wrong. Children need real consequences for their actions so that they grasp the concept of cause and effect. Adults need real consequences too. Unfortunately family law is not designed to deal with people like your ex...at least not in the short term.
End of Story!!!

For reals. BL, are you home alone? Either you are drunk or about to have a stroke. I'm actually concerned.

And with this, I'm locking the thread. The legal advice was to keep doing what I've been. It's really too bad I can't leave it open for other suggestions, because if this goes on long enough, an admin will lock it anyway.

As for the overreacting, I've been told that before by people who eventually had to deal with him and ended up apologizing, getting their own lawyers to get him to stop the harassment, and saying they can't take it anymore.

I mean, hey, he had a nice, drawn out plan to kill the mother of his older child, so I shouldn't be worried. After all, he's just doing it to get custody.

Legal question...need to toss around some ideas, if anyone has any:

Dad will be working, now, Monday-Friday nights, so the over night visit will have to be changed and now he wants every weekend.

Custody split, as of right now, is 90 (me) and 10 (Dad) and not sure GAL will recommend any more than that and obviously, I'm not, at least not until (if) some things change for the good of kiddo.

What is a fair proposal? Right now it's a 29 hour period over a weeknight and one weekend day for 6 hours.

Reverse it to put the over night over the weekend and then one week day for the short visit? We aren't talking required schooling age for a couple of years, still, so that's a moot point for now.
