My ex petitioned for a GAL for our ongoing case. he seems to just not lay off. what does a GAL do in terms of the child? I don't think it's right that my child has to get interrogated and pribed. what can i do to get the GAL on our side?

The only "side" that the GAL is on is the CHILD's side. There is no "our"... Just the child's side...

Thinking like this is going to get you in trouble, just be honest and do what you do. If you are the best for the child the GAL will see that.

Who is the "he" you are referring to in the previous sentence, your ex or the GAL? Also, what do you mean by 'just not lay off'? That's somewhat vague.
