I think my ex an his "wife" have put things in my sons head. will the GAL see how brainwashed he is? I hope! and please dont post without real advice thank you
I think it's funny that you put quotation marks around your child's Father's wife, as if you believe you can wish her away. :p

It's also pretty telling that Dad never married you. I s'pose you're not, as some say, "marriage material."

Great news!!

A GAL will find for what is in the best interest of your kid! Isn't that awesome?? So if you are the rockstar parent that your posting history seems to indicate you think you are then you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. Your kid will survive, I promise.

I hope dad has all of the adequate furnishings to support the son. If not you should help him and his "wife" pick some out. :)

All posters on this forum are frankly relieved that the court has appointed someone who can represent your son's interests in this matter.

Has custody been ordered? or is it a temporary order?

What have you done lately to interfere with dad's time?
No custody has been ordered but i have primary custody and dad barely started visitation. he has only petitioned it, we havent even gone to court but from what others are telling me is he is requesting a GAL. neither of us can afford one so how can I pay for one?

the only thing i have done is been late a few times and i lost my court order so i couldnt show up since i didnt know when it would be for his time but we are trying to move away from all his drama and bull.

I AM what is best for my son. dad barely started wanting to see him because he had to pay more child support now he wants to act like daddy of the year.

Well the court could decide to appoint one at a cost to the state. Or they could not appoint one and make you pay for it. Really depends on how frisky your judge is feeling...

Wait a minute here.... How is it I can remember what 3 court orders say, and all the various amendments, and the kids schedule and be on time to transfers for parenting time and you can not?

This excuse sucks. Think of a new one before you go see the judge again. Because he is going to eat you alive... Head first probably...

So there isn't a GAL then... You read about it somewhere and thought it would be cool to ask about it here?
