ex wife allows children not to go to school

today i was called by the cops in the town asking me to come and pick my children up due to my ex wife allowing the children age 10 and 5. she has been allowing the 10 year to stay home from school cuz everyone says stuff to him about his mom. and she has been for the last 2 weeks calling then school saying he needs to come home so he can take care of his 5 year old cuz the mother cant handle the 5 year old. i dont know how long my ex wife is going to be in jail for this or anything. is there any way i can get custody of my children becaseu of her neglect of this. i also found out that my 10 year old told me that his mother was raped by a 15 and 17 year old when then kids were not home but i dont know if its true becasue she has been having all these young boys over after it supposely happend. can someone plz help me

he wanted to go back to moms house becasue me and my fiencee were haveing some problems and we have since then worked them out.

SO it would seem that both you AND his Mom allow the boy to make decisions he has no place making. A 10yo does not get to choose where to live. I would suggest that both you AND Mom take parenting classes.

so i just got done filing for a restraining order againt my ex wife. i found out that she has pled guilty to having sex with a minor boy and serving alchol to minors. she said for the other account of having sex with a minor pled not guilty. what other steps can i take to help me get my children away from there mother. my son also told me that he saw his mother have sex with one of the boys and also saw his brother having sex with his girlfriend. plz i need some help. do i need to try to get a lawyer or what.

It is clear to us that the only advice we can give you is to pay for an attorney and a therapist.. Both you and mom have issues and the children are the ones suffering. The attorney will help you with the custody matters, and the therapist should be able to help your children deal with their broken homes.

your issue is, that your 10 year old said he wanted to move in with mom (and im sure you had a clue she was messing around the way she is) and you said, "sure, whatever you want youngin, should i get you a car too?" what kind of parent, lets their kids make parenting decissions?

you need to file something right away.

I suggest you consult with a lawyer if you don't know how to file an emergency and permanent change of custody for both kids, as well as dropping her visitation down to supervised only, and setting up a court ordered support.

by the way, why is your heading about not going to school, when there are obviously more serious concerns...

How does her activity show she is a danger to HER child? No really. How? Google Mary Lou Latourneau. She was convicted of having sex with a minor and was still entitled to unsupervised visitation. And the 10 year old saw the five year old having sex with his girlfriend? Or vice versa? How does the 10 year old define sex?
