Have you had your first appointment with your probation officer yet? Have you asked your probation officer if you can take the classes in Indy? Your probation officer actually has quite a bit of "say" over these issues and if you approach him/her with the proper penitent attitude you might get quite a bit of help there.
For a first-time non-injury DUI, I doubt that he would be assigned a probation officer even after conviction.
To the OP:
In most states, DUI classes can be transferred out of county (within the same state). You can look up *state-approved* DUI classes for Indiana. Call up the ones close to you and ask them about transferals. They should be knowledgeable about the process and would love to take your $600 or whatever.
Sounds like you have a lawyer already; he should know about inter-county transfers. Ask him.
DUI plea deals are pretty standard within a particular court system. Your case sounds pretty cut-and-dry, and you got the usual.
Don't be too eager to take the jail option. You may spend a week bored to death in a small-town lock-up, or get the stuffing knocked out of you in the county jail with gangbangers.
