Haha, while I know you guys think you are being intelligent and cute, you have no idea how my life runs. If I take the bus, I lose an hour of time over walking.. which is fine for my morning classes, sure, but when I need to get to work after that it's impossible. And then from work to class is a period of 30 minutes for travel. Then, my second job (which I can work from home) requires a specific amount of time per day that cannot be wasted on a bus. In the grand scheme of things work > school (as without work, I have no place to live). Thus, school is sacrificed to continue living. School is not cheap. In the end,
I am losing a huge investment over (in my opinion) taking the safe route on top of having to pay fines and towing/impound services to "the Man". I doubt I'll find myself in this situation again, but if I do I now know to call a cab because chilling in your car is illegal.
If it were so possible to use the bus, I wouldn't have the need for a car. Public transportation doesn't work here like it did in my previous city of London. I spend so much money on that hunk of metal with wheels (including all of the fees to "the Man") so that I can drive it. Not so they can take it away from me because I decided not to drive while intoxicated.
I visited my bank yesterday in attempts to grab a new and/or temporary card and was denied for not having an ID.
