Hell, people pay the carny a buck to see if he can guess your age or weight and people have no trouble disclosing such info to the carny. What is the big issue?
People also pay for the pleasure of letting themselves be urinated on. That doesn't generally make it not a big issue.

if you put both of those situations in the same class of action, that tends to speak volumes about you. While one is an acknowledged fetish, the other is simply a matter of every day life, unless of course you walk around wearing your "shower attire".

Look, you have given no reason why the info would be needed or not. If you don't want to give it up, then don't. Deal with the results, whatever they may be.

Well, don't answer the question and see what happens. It will possibly result in a lower grade, but that's your call. You are certainly free to intentionally torpedo your final grade if that is your choice.

It's a useful tool in testing whether the logic of a statement holds.

I could have just pointed out that

(1)Some people do A
(2)therefore being faced with doing something similar to A yourself isn't a big deal

isn't a valid argument, but I prefer to use plain English and vivid counter-examples whenever possible.

While it is usually illegal (Absent any of a number of exceptions alluded to by all the questions having to do with the purpose of the asking in the first place.) to DISCRIMINATE on the basis of age in education, I don't see where it is illegal to ask--or demand--age from a student in the classroom or in a school setting. And, weight is not protected at all except in employment in some states.

Well! Perhaps you should drop out of the class.

psst...there is a BIG difference if your instructor asked to pee on you as part of the class.
