I just called the local social security office about getting off disability and they said I just need to come to their office to go over paperwork. Luckily the building happens to be within walking distance of the college I go to so if I have some time I'll walk over there this afternoon.

I plan on calling social security this morning to cancel my SSI disability, but I'm so worried about what will happen when my parents who use a portion of the money to their benefit find out. What if they get so angry they decide to get guardianship of me. They did have guardianship of me before.
If they had a guardianship before and it hasn't been terminated by the probate court, then it's likely that they are still your guardians. In that case, YOU cannot terminate the disability payments. Furthermore, if they are providing for you, then the payments that are made on your behalf appropriately belong to them (generally.)

I'm not entirely sure but their guardianship over me might of been terminated when we moved from Indiana to Ohio. While they support me financially by providing me with a place to stay. Technically I could with the portion of disability money I get each month rent a small apartment of my own, but my parents won't let me so they can continue using what they get of my disability money. That is why I am getting a job and trying to cancel my disability. That and I don't actually have a disability.

If I may ask, what disability was previously present (or claimed) that allowed you to begin collecting disability payments?

Guardianship is not terminated by moving.

He/she said autism in one of the posts on the first page.
You're right. The OP must have been tested, probably several times, in order to get on disability. Furthermore, the OP is under the guardianship of his parents. I believe that he's going to be disappointed at the Social Security office once they pull up his information and see that he is under a guardianship.
