Good day.
I am need of some legal advice. My ex girlfriend and I dated for a bit over a year and a half.
She got a $8000.00 loan in her name. I pushed a vehicle for 4600.00 plus registration fees. Total of $5000.00. The remaining balance of $3000.00 i would say we spent together over time.
The vehicle is only in my name.
I have been the one making all payments since the beginning for about a year now without missing a payment.
I requested from her if we could come to an agreement on something that is fair for both parties.

Hey,
I was wondering if you had a moment to discuss your loan.
Your City Financial loan amount was for $8000.00.
However purchasing my jeep was $4600.00 + registration. Total of $5000.00.
The remaining $3000.00 was spent over time, as I will agree we spent together.
I pulled some records from my bank records.
The investment I made towards your house as a partnership agreement. As i left with no return.
The room built in the basement - $800.00
Basement floor- $600.00
Paint( deck, rooms, trim) - roughly $200.00 total.
Stairs - $800.00, minus $200.00 from your parents.
Im willing to pay back my share minus the no return investment made to your house.
If you could request the remaining balance of the loan and how many payments are remaining on the loan and send me a copy. We can discuss my my remaining contribution.
Response :
So I take it you just don't want to pay. Then so be it. I didn't pay jack right? Figures. Always been about money and you've always thought that way.
My response :
Just wanted to agree on something fair. Thats all im asking. No reason to get mad. Its not personal.
Response:
Seriously just don't pay

What would you suggest?
