Oh, it was pretty clear what he meant. That's why he is house hunting in an "all white town" - there aren't many of those left.

huh yeah that is not what I meant but thanks for taking everything out of context. I have adjusted it accordingly, it will be tough since it is mandatory court appearance. I will probably retain a lawyer because I do not know what to expect, they have there own form of justice.

So, what DID you mean? Because the racial makeup of the town and the race of the officer are both completely irrelevant.

If you did not get what I meant then anything I say will irrelevant, what happened was not intentional. It was not on purpose or had intent--- but not intending to break the law is probably or may not be a good defense to actually breaking the law. It is different than say robbing a liquor store where you had the intentions to do it. The burden is not there as heavy in a traffic case.

Why did you feel it necessary to mention the color of the officer? Do you think he cited you because you are not black? If that were true...I bet he had a bunch of non-blacks in this All White Town to cite.

OR!! Perhaps you got cited because you risked the lives of others.

true but a passenger and a witness say otherwise, so we will see. I guess what happens, I realize the deck is stacked against any charged person going to any court any where in the USA. Guilty to proven innocent.
