Bought something on craigslist and has problems with it.

yea but that is the risk with craigslist, trying to get a good deal. There are good posts out there selling new items for cheap prices, for whatever reasons. I was on budget.

You were aware of the risks. You tested the computer. You purchased it.

If it makes you feel better about blowing your budget on a worthless used computer you found for sale on Craigslist (instead of buying a working computer with warranty for close to the same price from one of your local stores), you could use the "Contact" form found on the Craigslist website to voice your complaint against the nameless seller.

It won't do any good but neither, I'm afraid, will any of your demands for a refund.

I know that people don't have to refund you, I used and bought used products and I don't expect a refund. It's craigslist. This guy lied to me and sold me a faulty computer. And I tested it briefly, it wasn't until hours using it, it just stopped working and had many faults.

You get some assurance buying from retails for sure but they are more expensive, and buying a pc as good as I thought this would be, would cost a lot more, out of my budget.

Used items purchased from private sellers come with a "buyer beware" warning. Nothing is guaranteed unless the seller provides you with a written guarantee.

I should be lucky lol? He does any bodily harm in my home with other people living here, it will not go good for him at all. Never heard of someone robbing or beating someone in a home and running away. There are neighbors living nearby with them outside, with many witness with a police living next to me. It wouldn't gone that way.

I don't see the huge risk of intentionally trying to hurt someone in their own home, in the u.s..

no what he did was, he left me with a broken computer and i'm at a loss of few hundred dollars.

I'm just saying, I don't live alone middle of nowhere isolated. I was aware of my environment and my surroundings and felt reasonably safe from that kind of threat.

But you are saying I can't do nothing about it. Tbh I want to key his car to make up for the damages if I find his license plate. He claims to live in long beach.

No I don't want to be jailed. But obviously people like this guy thinks as long as he can get away by scamming aka stealing it's ok to continue.
