I was a good girl ...I am counting on you, Blue, to start another senior thread if this thread gets out of hand.
Interesting. MY question was going to be "in how many states are you planning to rape someone?"In how many states are you planning to be raped?
VERY good point!!Interesting. MY question was going to be "in how many states are you planning to rape someone?"
Although, having read the other thread, I need to point out - trans* individuals are more likely to be victims of sexual violence than to perpetrate it.VERY good point!!
No, but it would provide a potential defense to the rapist charged with the crime. So I don't see why the OP is asking this line of questions unless, perhaps, he either wants to rape someone and hope that he can avoid prosecution by claiming the rape statute is unconstitutional or wants to avoid a state where if he is raped the attacker would avoid prosecution by getting the statute held unconstitutional. Either way, the fixation on this is a bit odd.I'm wondering what happens if OP finds a state where the wording of rape law is NOT gender neutral, and is in some way construed as unequal or discriminatory... could this be the research to find grounds for a lawsuit? In the same vein as the ADA warriors?
I find this statement particularly odd: "I am transgender(and have autism and ocd) and i am offten jeluis of cisgender women. I want to find out if I get raped by a cisgender women ... will there be any law that protects me."Although, having read the other thread, I need to point out - trans* individuals are more likely to be victims of sexual violence than to perpetrate it.
A bit odd? I would say it borders on a perverse fascination. No, but it would provide a potential defense to the rapist charged with the crime. So somebody made up a term to describe (and don’t crucify me for this term but it’s the best word I can think of at the moment) a normal person?Cisgender (sometimes cissexual, often abbreviated to simply cis) is a term for people whose gender identity matches the sex that they were assigned at birth. For example, someone who identifies as a woman and was assigned female at birth is a cisgender woman.
Hold on a dang minute. I’m old. All the gender stuff is confusing but when I looked up cisgender I find this
So somebody made up a term to describe (and don’t crucify me for this term but it’s the best word I can think of at the moment) a hetrosexual person?
Wtf?
I think justalayman was trying not to offend but could not find the right word to say what he wanted to say. I think sometimes offense is taken where none was intended.Dude.... are you saying trans people are abnormal? (warning: tread carefully.)
As I said, it was the best word at the moment. I could write 12 pages trying to explain what I mean in an effort to avoid offending y’all but I figured my crew would accept the term with explanation. Don’t shoot me over the word. Just explain why anybody felt they need to create a word for a situation where a physical male identifies as a male and same for female.Dude.... are you saying trans people are abnormal? (warning: tread carefully.)
