His 2nd test came back normal range for the white blood count. If I remember correctly it may have been due to antibiotics or ear infection. Either way I will check again. It's hard to say everything on this site in so few words. But basically I do believe some of the lab work results were from poor nutrition. I should have a copy of the results my self. If she will give me the dr's info.. It's hard because she purposely excludes me from things. I only know what she tells me. I do not play the same games that she does or use my son as a pawn like she does for the record. I appritiate the responses either way. Thank you.
We have been to court for 3 appointments over the past few months initially because she had asked dhhs to do a income review because she is trying to go after a foster care stipened payment I receive for a disabled patient that lives with me.It is only recently over the past few months (because the judge told her that she needs to follow the court order for my visitation) that she hasn't been interfeering as much with my time with my son. But in the past and in general she will make my son feel bad for comming with me on my time. Sadly She has been able to alter how my son thinks about me. Plus he wants to please her. So it is only recently that I am able to pick up my son without problems. Now I am trying to figure out how to make sure my son gets proper nutrition. I can't change it without her support, and on the short time periods I have him.

My concern is his nutrition. My son has some OCD issues. He will only eat a few certain things. Mostly processed food and apples. His mother does not make him eat the normal meals her and her boyfriends kids eat everyday.she is more concerned with being his friend not a parent. She wants to keep my son on her side any way possible.she will take him to the Dr's , but not do what the Dr says. For example he just went a few weeks ago for headaches and the Dr said he is dehydrated, but she won't make sure he drinks enough, or more water. He has bad allergies, and she won't make him take his allergy medicine. I honestly don't know how to fix this issue. I have sent him back with medicine and vitamins but she won't make him take it.
I'm just going to comment of the picky eater part of your post. My DD had texture issues with food. Certain food textures made her kinda gag. She was, and still is, a carnivore. She loves all meats and most fish, salads some fruits and some veggies only raw. As a little girl (shes almost an adult now) she would eat some meat, no veggies except carrot sticks. I did not "force her" to eat things she didn't like. But I would ask her to try a bite now and again to see if she changed her mind. Over the years she changed her mind about a lot of foods. She eats well now and takes nutritional supplicants as well. Forcing picky children to eat food they dislike makes for a picky adult later in like. That bit of wisdom I learned from my mother.

My oldest also had texture issues. Wouldn't eat veggies or fruit (except apples dipped in caramel LOL). My younger? Anything and everything (though preferred veggies raw), except sauce on pasta (butter only, thankyouverymuch). When my ex remarried, their stepMom was much stricter than I - what she cooked was what there was. Period. And the kitchen "closed" at 7pm. Both of mine quickly learned to eat different things. Now? Both will eat most anything, and the oldest is engaged to a vegetarian!

Thank you. I appreciate all comments and view points. My son eats cereal or waffles, or pancakes with a Apple for breakfast.peanut butter and jelly sandwich , or grilled cheese with Apple for lunch.Dinner is either box macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese, French fries and Apple. For snacks he has gold fish crackers, or cookies, cake if you let him. Once in a while he has a chicken nugget happymeal. My son has only eaten these foods, and only these foods (nothing else) for years. I know based on him only eating just this that his nutrition is very bad. It really worries me.

That really could be a lot worse.

You just described my entire diet up until the age of 23 (except you left out the cheese burgers and chocolate cake).

I had one who would only eat balongna and jelly sandwiches for lunch and another (on ADHD meds which suppress the appetite) who only ate mustard sandwiches (at least it was 2 pieces of bread!) for his school lunch for a year. They are now both in their 40s. The BandJ eater wanted lobster for his birthday dinner as a teen; be grateful he is still cheap to feed! :)

LOL My youngest was an athlete in HS. I had to send her breakfast for the bus, second breakfast at school, a midmorning snack, two lunches, and a (large) midafternoon snack. Pizza parties I had to send $$ for an entire pie for her. Going out? She could go through a salad, an app, a HUGE steak, sides, dessert and be ravenous when we got home (we stopped going out LOL). And she still fit into a Size 2 (sick, I know LOL).
