How old is your child exactly? Is she in college? Married? Military? Working ? Is she still living with your mother?

She is 24. I don't really know if she working. I know she is living with Boy friend, they bought house, has a boy and one on the way this month. My daughter does not talk to me.

I read them numerous times and could not figure out the who, what and when and type of payment (regular or arrears).
I believe it is arrears, that she is trying to get.
Have you talked to any program providing legal services to the disabled or low income?

No I haven't. I don't care for the state lawyers,I think they are out for the state not their client.
Just my belief.

OP is in NY and wouldn't qualify for low cost legal services in WV. She might in NY though...but the chances of finding one that is also licensed in WV is slim.

I had asked if you were in arrears on page one of this thread and you said you were "paid in full". So...Do you have child support arrears and if so how much?

BTW: An attorney that is appointed to you or you hire, is legally and ethically obligated to represent their client vigorously. Just because the case doesn't go your way in NO WAY implies that the attorney was "out for the state". Shame on you for saying that.

I am sorry.

You really need to answer the questions asked. Are you in arrears? If so, how much?
Okay....Per your postings I thought you were in NY as you never stated that you moved to WV. OP= original poster = YOU.

What state is your mother filing in....NY or WV?
She is in WV.
The only arrears I have is for my son,not my daughter. I am sure my mom is trying to establish a case to get child support and combine cases together. It is so confusing. I just think she is in the wrong.
