It is too early for you to be thinking of expunging your criminal record. Wait until you have one to expunge first. Of course, the way you are insisting on talking about the crime, I imagine you will have the conviction and a misdemeanor to expunge soon enough.

And THAT is why you need an attorney. This can be seen as admission for what you are charged with. Reminds me of a guy in court who, after the victim testified about a number of specific items being in the purse that was allegedly stolen, blurted out "There wasn't a phone in there!"

If you aid and abet in a crime, you are taking the risk of being punished as severely as someone whose involvement was more direct.

You are already getting a break by being charged with a misdemeanor instead of felony.
