It's not BAH fraud (unless the marriage was simply to get BAH). So don't listen to the barracks lawyers. But what you SHOULD do is talk to your post's legal office. Ask them the best way to handle it. It's free to do so, and you can set your mind at ease.
Here's a pro-tip: if you go into HR or management with THAT attitude, you are not going to get anywhere. Dial down the histrionics and you'll get much further in your quest.
My thinking is this: the LL would be MOST likely to enter through the front door and would never even know that there was a change (as long as OP reinstalled the original deadbolt). Not ideal, but sounds like this LL isn't exactly ideal, either. :-D
So it's possible your Mom received notice of the eviction proceedings after you left?
And you say they were granted 6 years of rent -- had she not paid rent?
There's no "declaration of facts" statement that you could submit - that's just not a thing. But even if there were, the chance of it making one iota of difference is practically nil.

OP, in the time you typed out your last reply you could have simply answered the question: Did you agree to settle? That's a yes or no question.
Same with commentator's second question: Did you attend any part of the mediation?
The fact that you're not answering those two questions tells me...
No one is beating you up, they're just pointing out that your story isn't believable.
Your only option is to look for another job. Because I doubt that the new employer is going to want to hire you.
Please, OP, try to use some semblance of a sentence with punctuation.
So I think if I understand your last post, you knew the time and date, but didn't know the location. When you asked your attorney where the mediation was to be held, what did he say?
And you say you "ended up settling"...
Thanks, cbg, that makes sense.
Honestly, I was just so surprised that civilian plans allowed anyone to stay on a minute past the time they had other coverage that I didn't think it was possible at all. But staying on until Open Season? That's just madness in my world!!!!
What is the name of your state? UT/WY
For my health-benefits gurus out there, I have a question.
I'm familiar with how TRICARE works, which is that coverage for adult children under the age of 26 isn't automatic (they must enroll and pay separate premium), and coverage ends when the child...
All of this discussion about the license plates being tied to a person's criminal history is interesting, but does it apply when the vehicle OP was driving was a rented U-Haul?
If you use your favorite search engine and type in "victim assistance + (your county and state)" you should get the contact info for the Victim Assistance Office nearest you. They'll be able to provide resources and guidance. If you need any help, send me a private message with the name of...
