What state are you in? What state is the apartment you wish to rent?
The management does not want to waste their time working with you when you keep changing your mind. Plus the fact that the apartment is still in a commercial desert will be a recurring yearly problem.
You are right, the close relative did not cause the damage. But had she not driven drunk and required the interlock in the first place, this would not have happened.
Minimally, she should be the one trying to find a way to remedy the situation instead of OP. And OP, should start making her...
1) Ask for an accounting of the $7000. If he can't provide it, then he is just blowing wind.
2) Start looking for someplace else to live - regardless of the outcome of number 1. Your landlord does not like you. He is not obligated to like you. It is completely legal to dislike you. It is also...
It sounds like you need to take a deep breath and focus on completing your divorce as quickly and calmly as possible. Your attorney can spend a great deal of time and money chasing things that will have little long-term benefit to you.

Was the physical therapist recommended by the doctor who prescribed PT recommended?
If it is short-term - a few months of PT post-injury or something similar, just suck it up. Find a way to make the car time enjoyable. Try listening to audiobooks...
Also, we do not know the health issue requiring a specialist. Choosing the best cardiologist in the state for your child's life-threatening heart issue is very different than choosing a dermatologist for your child's moderate acne.
The system is not upping your support to your ex-wife - the system is upping support for your *children*.
As far as teaching your children to be respectful - that is called parenting. Use all your available parenting to parent effectively. And earn your children's respect.
What makes you say that? Your child support scales with your income, so you should have more income with a $3/hour raise. If you do not, then your other deductions are higher. It's quite possible to change employers, move to a job with a higher pay level, and come home with less money if they...
