The visit may merely be a formality that will not require a lot of analysis....Sorry I can't be more definitive.

I didn't expect an exact answer.

I am leaning toward the formality thinking though. I've already met with her a couple of times since she did the home visit at the ex's house. She indicated to me her concerns after the visit with him and his wife, and I was able to answer a lot of her questions. In doing so, we also caught the ex in quite a few lies that he told her - not slight mis-truths, but easily proven lies.

The kids have straight A's, glowing reports from teachers, do well socially, etc. She described the kids as "Amazing and VERY well grounded."

OMG, really? Then why has it taken almost a year for any of the people that are actually involved to make a decision, oh great and powerful one?

At YOUR juncture, it seems the best approach. But then that would tend to "uncomplicate" your future. And I believe totally against your nature.
