There is a five-day period of hospitalization during which time the physican wrote and signed a DNR order. A DNR order requires justification.
DNR justification will be found in the medical records, not in the autopsy.
My advice is to review the medical records from the hospitalization and to do so via the OP's personal physician or the OP's husband's personal physician.
Have the records sent to the personal physician of choice. Make an appointment to discuss the events. Go to the appointment and discuss concerns and ask questions.
Personal note to gfro--In a blessed yet twisted way, it does get better.
