CPS reporting is 'Anonymous' without a subpoena/court order to the contrary. A case worker may let it slip~ but they are not supposed to divulge that information.

It's imperative that you let the Social Worker know there is/has been a GAL assigned to your case. The only exception to that advice would be if there is bias against you on the part of the GAL.

Oh Yeah. See, stupidhead is going to get 'jerk' status soon...LOL Remember my nuttyX? Well, we aren't in court anymore (4 out of 6 yrs of little one's life we were tho) because he eventually got jerk status. Now he can't bring the case back to court unless I am deceased or incarcerated.

Had I not been at the dentist letting him put a root in my canal (or whatever he was doing in there) I would have suggested that whole civil harrassment thing. Not only do I smell it, I can see it coming down the pipeline.

CJane, does your court system allow you to file for fee waivers (seeing as if you are currently unemployed) so that you don't have to pay the filing fees? Surely every court system must have some system in place for indigent individuals (even if you are only temporarily indigent) that need the assistance of the court.

ANYWAY... the investigator just left. And while he can't reveal who reported me, he DID say that he gets the feeling this is about custody and not the safety of the kids.

What was reported:

That I am an internet porn addict (same allegation as during the divorce and custody trial)
That the kids are left alone - all 3 of them - overnight while I'm with my BF
That the 7 year old cut herself in the bathtub and I made her deal with it herself
That neither child knows our address because we move so often
That they are left without even a phone while I'm gone
That my house is filthy (he's never been here)
That there is no food in the house because I'm obsessed with dieting
That the babysitter does not supervise the children while they're in her care and the 7 year old was nearly hit by a car while riding a bike

What the investigator did:

Interviewed the children separately
Interviewed me... indicated that the allegations seemed like 'so much BS' and he hoped I understood that they have to investigate every hotline call. I assured him that I completely understood and told him that he should probably brace himself for more calls over the next year.
I told him that I wasn't surprised that he'd been called, because the ex has been on a constant campaign to prove me unfit since he filed for divorce and that the allegations never change. I told him that a GAL had been involved and he asked for her contact info - when I gave him her name, he chuckled and so did the cop that was with him, and they asked if she'd found in my favor - I said yeah - and he said "Then stop worrying. She's the best there is."

The caseworker then told me that if I'm investigated more due to new calls, that I could go to the prosecutor and they'd let me listen to the hotline calls (they're all recorded) and if I recognize the voice/s I can press criminal harassment charges as well as a civil case.

The babysitter just called - the caseworker stopped by to see her after he left here, and said that he can't actually do anything because she's state certified - that the certification people will just have to decide how to handle the allegations... she's not worried as she was just re-licensed. But she IS pissed and I have to keep SMom from picking the kids up at her house anymore.

So I guess stupidhead's grave gets deeper, huh?

Oh, yeah, they're fun.

And it's not illegal to look at porn - it's unChristian... and that makes me a bad parent. Nevermind that the allegation isn't even true.

And I haven't moved 'a lot'. I moved out of the marital home in Feb 2004. I moved out of my townhouse and in with my BF/babydaddy in May of 2005. I moved back to the town I lived in in 2004 in March of this year.

My ex is a crazy person. Seriously. And his wife is even worse.

Interestingly, he did NOT report sexual abuse, which he has alleged previously.

We have an appointment to have the 7 year old evaluated in August for 'severe emotional issues' alleged by the ex. He didn't mention THAT to the caseworker either.

I would think a Poverty Affidavit would be suffice to commence action. She would just need to get a notary public signature on it.
