You are allowed one transportation vehicle of any value and it's not counted as part of the $2000 resource limit. You're saying that's the boat. OK, I'll buy that.

But you want to have a second transportation vehicle (a car) that you believe you can justify because it's value is less that the $2000 resource limit.

Its just that the law is not always as cut and dry as it may appear.
You got that right.

Which is why I am here.
Since we have expressed our doubts, where you should be is on the phone to the SSA office which is where your benefits will be cut if you get it wrong.
