Haven't read all three pages, but.... How was a CO issued at time of sale w/unpermitted additions (the kitchenette)?

The answer is because the house was sold in DC. A house there can be sold with existing code violations.

This is a three-time-spam-revived thread from January/February.

This is pretty solid information. Appreciate the above responses so far.
Since you said the exact same thing as QuickRealEstate and ShawnFoster12 said in earlier posts, I'm going to assume that all three of these accounts are by the same person and thus you know from earlier responses that reviving old threads, especially with nothing substantive to say is frowned upon in this forum. Please don't do it again regardless of whatever new account name you may come up with.
