No one was at the house so I Kicked in the back door. Started loading up my stuff. He came back and was irate called the law. Police man said if we couldn't come to an agreement then I had to leave or both of us could go to jail. So I didn't get but a few things and I had to leave. I did find a lawyer who said he could help me. I'm going to press charges on his girlfriend for selling my belongings on Facebook. I will go file the necessary papers to get a police officer to escort me over there to get my things...if I have any left.

I really don't have the funds to go to court about the house itself. He is looking at serving some hard time I take my house back over when he gets locked up.

if some stranger took my stuff out of my house and sold it on face book..I'd be contacting local police about theft issues .

You didn't respond as to how your home was titled ...but it may well be that you own 50% of it ....

it's sure to be a long drawn out battle, me, I'd try to sort out being IN my own home for the duration and if he is more than irate such as making threats to harm you while you are in the house..you might succeed at getting a protection order which keeps him away/out .

if the status quo was you were in there..I'd be real wary of letting him have exclusive use wo input from my attorney.
