More specifically, please someone tell me how much time he
would need to have the child for it to lower his support payment.
What difference does it make? The father has every right to the maximum amount of time with HIS child. Will women like you stop using a human being -- A CHILD -- like they're property and a means to get more money. If you're that hard-up for cash, then seek additional employment. Nothing urks me more.

Say he does get some form of custody of her and since he
is a stranger to her, how does it work?
Would it start with supervised visitation to gradually ease the
relationship along?
Since you really do NOT care about the father developing a relationship with the child because you're more concerned about getting the maximum of child support, you could ask a lawyer. But I am sure someone with the same agenda as you will attempt to help you out.

Betterthanher----I'm sorry you must not have read my post or read it incorrectly. Where did I say I did not care about the father
developing a relationship with the child? You are wrong also to
say that I'm using my child to get more money.

What I said was that I would be happy for him to be involved.
He is only saying he wants custody to get me to back out of
trying to get child support. If I do not seek child support,
he has indicated he doesn't want any involvement whatsoever.

And no, I"m not hard up for cash but thank you anyway for
your kind comment. Do you think your advice/comments
will actually help anyone? All you are doing is making very
broad assumptions which do not apply to my case at all.
