WA USA
A business in Alhambra CA has cheated on me and do I have to go there in person for small claims court?
I asked pierce county WA (where I live ) they said you can not sue CA based business in WA state.
Is there any other option than going in person to CA?
What makes you so certain that the business can't be sued in the State of Washington? Just because some county courthouse underling - that is not supposed to be giving legal advice - said so?
Explain with some detail the particulars by which you feel that you have a legal claim against the California based company. Maybe Washington's long arm statute will kick in and you can sue them in your backyard and not theirs.

Incidentally, there are signs posted in some of the clerk’s offices in this state that read:
Employees of this office are not permitted to give legal advice.
SO DON’T ASK!
