I am trying to get full custody of my 14 yrs old son, so that he may attend a good school that he has been accepted to for next yr. His mom is giving me trouble Should I go for joint and ask for him during the school yr so that he may attend the school and she gets him in the summer? I really would like some help I also asked court that he be there they denied me. I thought we were going to court but the papers I just received says conference so I guess its some form of mediation. What should I do?

She has problems giving him tokens for the school he attends now but its just my word against hers and her opposition its only because I want him so she doens't really have one..

Cool your jets a tad!). For example - what is the situation regarding your son, yourself and Mom? Are you married? Divorced/divorcing? Never married? Is there an existing custody order? If so, how long ago was it issued? What does it say?

You strongly get all the school records you can , an fight like hell , buddy .
Obtain all the good records on your and your child's behalf . Go over them and present the arguments and records .

My son has gotten into some trouble in school where he had to do community service for some months. Dealing with drugs it was his first time. He told me his mom does it also, but I can't prove that so it will be my word against hers right? I aslo believe she has said things to him because now since we got our court date he hasn't called me and we talk all the time on the phone. So I'm sure she is putting things in his head before the court date. I have never been married neither has she and she is pregnant about to have another baby and has a little one 7ys old now. I'm working about to move into my house with my girlfriend and her daughter 16yrs old. There no exsiting custody order this is the first one.

stealth- in this situation, even without a paternity test, he has stipulated for the past 14 years that he is the father and mom has not contested (I assume) doesn't that make him the legal father?

The school is very far from mom thats why I wanted him to live with me during school and the summer he can live with her.. He lives with his mom and always have I can see him when I want ..I usually have him all summer...
