Constitutionality of it be damned? What about those too healthy to WANT health insurance? My personal view is that it's perfectly reasonable - I'm tired of paying for people who are too cheap to have insurance.

The IRS doesn't write the Internal Revenue Code, Congress does.Id the government forcing me to marry because the IRS chooses to tax married less...
Maybe it's because a state is not limited by the Commerce Clause.I'm not aware of any decision that forced purchase of health insurance is unconstitutional. Massachusetts is doing it.
I'll sent my tax return to Congress then. Save us all a stamp. The IRS doesn't write the Internal Revenue Code, Congress does.
You think you won't end up paying for their same healthcare costs via higher taxes? The majority of people who chose not to buy insurance either can't afford it, or are healthy enough not to require excessive healthcare services. My personal view is that it's perfectly reasonable - I'm tired of paying for people who are too cheap to have insurance.
I'm only aware of illegals voting in some local government/school district races (San Francisco I believe is one such local government which allows it). I'm not aware of any instance where an illegal has been arrested for voting in an election for State or National office. As for using benefits, I'll agree with you there 100%. Not a citizen? Not a legal resident? Pay your own way or here's a bus ticket back home.I wouldn't have any objection. Too many illegals voting and using government benefits.
E-filing does the same thing.I'll sent my tax return to Congress then. Save us all a stamp.
I've had insurance all my life. It's saved me MUCH more than it cost...I never had health insurance when I was younger ... it saved me alot of money.
Sorry, I don't qualify for FreeFile. Good thought for other taxpayers.E-filing does the same thing.
