Each of my 3 going on 4 orders i've written myself, taken from standard parenting plans i've found online for Dozens of states....While i can't say i've read every one, i've atleast skimmed 4/5ths of them all....Many of them have clauses that require both parents to foster the relationship between the kids and the other parent, most use language just like that, some mention "Neither party shall do anything which may estrange the child from the other parent" Still others talk about "Injuring the childs opinion of the parent" and some just mention "Respect for the other parent"

Odd's are when it comes to this subject, i'm the most well versed on the forum

Your right, i was just basing it on what she told us, how could i do anything else with an online forum? Should i have assumed he was the devil incarnate and make up evil deeds he had done? Or maybe assume he is mother Theresa and that everything else he's ever done was perfect? With online forums, you kinda have to work with the information provided....And that's what i did
The word is YOU'RE (or You are)....I hope you are not an English teacher!!!!!!!

*snort* I'm pretty sure you aren't the most well-versed on any subject in this forum, considering there is at least one attorney (who is also a GAL) who frequents this board!

And as far as judging by what I wrote in one post? There is a nifty little feature here, where you can look back at previous posts.

I'm going to give you a tiny bit of advice: Stop being so arrogant, thinking you're the most well-versed and all. There are people here with tons more experience and knowledge than you, and if you will take their advice instead of arguing your point, then you will probably learn something.

When I first came here, I had all sorts of attitude and arrogance. When I actually stopped arguing my point, and started taking to heart the things that were said---I realized I was NOT doing what was best for my kids! (now, occasionally I still get on my soapbox. There are some things that I have deeply rooted and very strong opinions about! And when that is met w/ a differing opinion, I can take it a little personal!)

You are claiming more knowlege of family law than a family law attorney and GAL, people who work in family law, the courts, child support and social services systems?
Surprised that not all professionals keep up with their education and have they're knowledge bypassed by simple Google searches?? Really? You've never been to a doctor and had to tell HIM whats wrong? Never been to a mechanic after doing some research and 'help' him find the problem? I know on serveral occassions i've had to explain to my plumber about pitch and pressure. Just because someone works in the field does NOT mean they have any idea what they are talking about.

And seriously, GAL's are NOT someone i would trust with knowledge of the law...(we don't have GAL's in NY, they are now 'attorney's for the child')

I guarantee that you know much less about family law than I and many other seniors know. Guarantee it.

You know nothing about GALs then. Nothing at all. A GAL is not an attorney for the child.

it would be ATTORNEY for the child/children, or ATTORNEYS (plural) for the child/children. What do you teach? Phys Ed?

And just because someone can use Google (or Bing, or any other search engine) does not mean they have the ability to read, comprehend and apply what is in front of them! Sweet Mother of Pearl, but you are an arrogant little twit!

And seriously? Just because someone pretends to know everything, doesn't mean they do. You really need to sit on your hands until you can understand the issues presented.

And I'm still waiting on how you intend to deal with teens who respect no one.

Because none of us so-called professional are require to obtain CECs, CLEs or other CE units to maintain licensure or employment? None of us are required to maintain knowlege of statutes and policies that can change with every new legislative session?

It would be very much appreciated if you could provide actual facts--backed up by statutes--for the information you push onto unsuspecting posters.
