Gnats are easily taken care of. Just don't forget to wash your hands thoroughly after making them go splat. Gnat guts are gross.

You got off easy Hot Toddy... if you were female the hazing ritual was a little bit more difficult...
I know, I have heard rumours that it involved bonding over mimosa's and having "girl talk" about judges....and their kilts!
;)

seniorjudge,
So basically, when I go, I should say "X happened while we driving down y road. Z agreed to pay for the damages. We have contacted him numerous times and have not received a response." and then shut up and wait for the judge to ask for evidence, etc? I hadn't really planned on saying "and I think so-and-so should happen". My understanding is simply that I present the facts as I see them, answer the judge honestly, comply with any requests for evidence and then let him/her do his/her job. The whole thing should take about 1/2 of the time it does on TV, right? ;) I'm really not interested in Judge Judy "justice" drama anyway.
As I said earlier, leave out the settlement agonies and emphasize that the guy was at fault for the accident.

These stories about long drawn out settlement problems and I got cussed out on the phone, etc. are worthless....

Judge, say hi to ENASNI right now please, I believe she is having heart palpitations and might require medical treatment if I don't get her BP down. The soothing sound of your voice might be beneficial.....

:D

I don't know anything about exhaustion, but it sounds very tiring to me....

Just when I thought I was going to die of ennui... Da Judge comes to town.

I accidentally dropped my ennui in the zinc.

Thanks judge.

Silly question: should we practice what we'll say or just know the facts and answer honestly but spontaneously. Never been before a judge and said more than "Yes, your honor" "No, your honor" and "Thank you". I have tremendous respect for judges, but am terribly intimidated by them. I'm just a law-fearing citizen :)
