Motions generally can be amended. What exactly was your motion for?
I filed a suit and the defendant file a order to comply I moved in Aug submitted address change in Nov now I learned my case was closed for failure to comply never got order

Was this a landlord tenant matter? What was the motion?

From what you said in your follow-up the case was dismissed. So it's what the order dismissing the case says that determines if it is with or without prejudice. As I've not read the order there is no way I can tell you which it is. You've said the problem was a failure to comply with an order of the court, but that's too vague to know exactly what the problem was — that is, the nature of the court order that you were supposed to follow makes a difference.

Jettedward, why don’t you start with your state name and follow that with the reason for the personal injury suit and the result of the civil action. Did you lose the suit or were you awarded damages?
 
Okay I was assaulted at work by owner and workers they blocked me from leaving strong armed my material I went to hospital suffered lumbar issues place on light duties for 8mos
