The agreement the currently have is a court order, not a court suggestion.

Updating it, while BOTH parents are in agreement, is not a waste of time.

It also SAVES court time, should there be a disagreement at a future date, to have the actual agreement reflected in the court orders.
I am sorry, but in this instance, in Indiana, there is no need to file anything in court. If they were changing parenting time or adjusting the parenting schedule or anything else that would be an ongoing issue then I would agree with you. However, in this instance mom moved a relatively short distance and dad doesn't have a problem with it.

In fact, it wouldn't even be in dad's best interest to update anything at this point anyway. If mom suddenly loses her mind and refuses to honor the existing parenting schedule then dad would be better off having NOT updated anything in court.
