You're right. And I hope the OP really doesn't think geo-restriction is going to help much either. It's done by IP address and isn't close to correct many times even at the state level. My IP looked for years, and still might, that I was in TX.

He should also know that the Communications Decency Act's section 230 that he linked to in his first post does not prevent a lawsuit from being filed against him. It can, however, be a potential defense if he is sued.

Starting a porn business is like starting a bar.

It seems easy and it seems like there is a huge market. Plus it's fun and you probably like the product yourself too.

But the reality is that it is a hard business and one you'll lose your shirt in unless you really already know a lot about how to do it well.
