I'm curious. What is your parents' opinion of this? Do they agree with you?
Yes, my mother and rest of my family do. So do all of my friends, but obviously none of them have the legal insight you people do.

I was never looking for legal recourse, and I have NO idea where that came from. I came here simply looking for intelligent people who would agree with me, but apparently I'm on my own. You guys can say whatever you want, but I'll fight this for as long as I have to and my opinion will never change.

And by the way, I don't really want him dead.

Good day to you all.

I am far beyond most people in my school in terms of maturity and intelligence. That is not my inflated ego, everyone who knows me will tell you that including my teachers and principals. And they tell me I'm a lot more intelligent than I think I am because I have low self-esteem.
Right.

I'm not in and out of rehab for drugs, and I'm not going out to get wasted every Friday night.
Good for you.

Believe what you will, but I did not say what I said because I believed it would cause me trouble.
The fact that you didn't believe then that it would cause you trouble and that you don't understand now why it caused you trouble is exactly why you are in trouble.

You came to a legal advice forum looking for answers. If you wanted something else, go somewhere else. Intelligent people won't agree with you...

If I believed that what I did was wrong, why would I do it ad why would I be here looking for people who share my opinion?
While I will not take a judgment on the actual facts, I believe the problem may be the quality of your belief. As you wrote:
Nothing happened, but I did have to meet with a psychiatrist afterwords. He was convinced that I was capable of acts of violence, really, just because I lack empathy.

I DID NOT commit a crime, therefore I should not have been placed on probation.
According to my reading of PA law, a court places you on probation - NOT the probation officer.

So, you have either had your matter sent before a court for a disposition that led to probation, or, you are to be under the informal supervision of the probation office for up to 6 months.

As usual, when I point out the obvious failings and inconsistencies in the OP's story, the OP attempts to ignore being called out on the facts, since they know that facts are what put them into their situation and they do not wish to discuss them. What they seek is an "out". You failed, like many others OP.

Thanks for a clear reminder of why I am glad I no longer work with juveniles. The saddest thing is, he'll have his record expunged when he's 18 and we'll have to find him again, hopefully before he does something really awful.

What this young person is doing here is seeking to improve his/her presentation. He's not seeking legal advice, he's perfecting his ability to argue with "normal" people, trying to understand how we think and perceive so he can mess with us more effectively in the future. He's got a deficit, you see, and he's trying to understand us and learn to fake thinking more like we think.

He slipped up before and ended up on probation because his teacher understood that people talk about what they're interested in. And when he did, she rightfully interpreted the message and headed it off. Bravo to her.

The only thing that group counseling does for sociopathic individuals is make them better at lying and manipulating others. I don't want us to give this OP any more help.

Again, you are really being incredibly naive. And the more you post, the more juvenile you seem. One more time, nothing illegal or even unethical has been done to you. There is absolutely nothing you can do about what's happened to you. (Certainly, continuing to post here isn't going to change things.)

I'm sorry, You'll have to find me again before I do something awful? You are making one hell of an assumption considering you know nothing about me. Yes, by definition I am a sociopath but I am not without my reasons for being so. Simply because I think differently than you does not make me less than you. Simply because I am heartless does not make me a violent person. I slipped up? Barely. If I could, I would love to introduce you to my teacher, or any of my teachers. I assure you, that is not at all what she thought.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I saw this and could not simply ignore some random person on the internet passing judgement as if he/she has any idea what he/she is saying.

And clearly, I misused the term "recourse". Sorry about that. Yes, I wanted advice. I did not expect a backlash from the community, especially to this degree. The fact that you all pass judgement on someone you do not know based around a single opinion that I have is sad. I'll be watching this, but I won't reply anymore unless this person wants to defend himself, or someone else wants to make arrogant assumptions. I have been very polite and respectful to all of you, and considering you are most likely well-educated adults I am surprised at how I have been treated.
