I should have mentioned they did not teach any of the kids that were swimming in the same group with my kid.

I find it interesting that you didn't mention this in your first post, which leads me to believe you're adding facts trying to get a different answer. Which you won't.

Seriously, this is all on you. You should have been aware of how they teach before signing your child up for lessons. In fact, I find your argument SO ridiculous I suspect that you're actually trolling.

Happened to me when I was first learning to swim. Scared the heck out of me and I didn't want to learn for many years after that.

Happened to me early on as a kid. Luckily, it simply made me thing my uncle was a...well...not nice.
