I missed this at first. You should take the money and run!... “we can issue refund for a few leftover lessons, but not for the past lessons”

Yes, I noticed that as well.I missed this at first. You should take the money and run!
That was done to my oldest. By a swim instructor. Took us years to overcome. Can you just toss them in the deep end and say "Swim to me if you wish to live"?
Yes, that was my first concern. The popular swim school where I am does that. That was done to my oldest. By a swim instructor. Took us years to overcome.
Happened to me when I was first learning to swim. Scared the heck out of me and I didn't want to learn for many years after that. That was done to my oldest. By a swim instructor. Took us years to overcome.
LOL I know. But it does happen.Stealth and Red...You do realize I was kidding ...right? That's why I did the .
I know. Both of my children learned the basic's from Dad and I and the more advanced stuff from a cousin that was a Life Guard. I will tell you tho...If I sent my child for lessons and she was tossed in the deep end? I flipping kick the instructor in the balls/vagina. You do not teach by scaring a child like that.LOL I know. But it does happen.
We pulled #1 out of the pool and left, never to return. And honestly? The lost lesson fees never crossed my mind.I know. Shoulda kick him where it hurts...We pulled #1 out of the pool and left, never to return. And honestly? The lost lesson fees never crossed my mind.
She said 6 y.o.I have that first quote in my signature for a reason - "Children aren't coloring books. You don't get to fill them in with your favorite colors." It is a very valuable lesson that I learned as a parent. Not all kids are good at what you want them to be good at. And that's okay.
OP - how old is your child?
But that was your choice... You weren't FORCED. You gave consent, for lack of better terminology. When I was a kid we went to a pool party at a home with a built in pool with a slide at the deep end. I couldn’t swim, but wanted to go down the slide. So essentially I threw myself into the water and said swim if you want to live.
