Kid's lessons with no results and no refunds

I took my 6 y.o. kid to swim lessons at a private swim school and paid $500. The child still remains an absolute non-swimmer.
Since the child not achieve any swimming skills, I have asked the company for a full refund. I believe their teaching techniques are the problem.

However, they replied with “you might want to consider another swim school”, “my child’s bad swimming process is not their fault, they did their best” and “we can issue refund for a few leftover lessons, but not for the past lessons”

On their enrollment papers – they say “no refunds”, but there is no information about “no swimming skills will be achieved”

I am frustrated that I paid them for nothing.

I want a full refund. Do I take them to court? How can I do to proof my case? Make a video of the swim class?

Thank you!

Perhaps your child just doesn't "take" to swimming. Did you try to teach him/her the basic doggie-paddle? If so...did you have any success?

The child does want to learn. But what the teacher do just dragging the kid in the water back and forward. So there is no progress.

There is water around me however...this is not what my question is about.
You signed a contract. And in that contract it states "No Refunds". Your child is apparently not a swimmer. That is not their fault. You could try suing in Small Claims Court...but based on your posting I don't see you winning.

I would hope when a person goes to swim lessons, the result should be some swimming skills. I did not expect to gain nothing, but just pay.

Then you should have selected a swimming teacher or program that offered a guarantee.

Looks like you're learning a lesson too.

I am a HORRIBLE singer. If I spent $500.00 dollars on singing lessons they would not be able to help me with that. Not their fault. Your son may just not have a swimming aptitude. Not their fault.

ETA: Child may also not be "ready" to swim yet. Perhaps try a vacation next summer by a lake ...Perhaps he will pick it up on his own playing with other children. My youngest learned that way. :)

I believe anyone can learn how to swim (assuming a person without ADA), this is like walking or running, etc.

And to be a singer you have to have a good voice and ear that is given by nature and can be improved with proper lessons. But if you have a bad ear or horrible voice, thus no lessons will help.

These 2 are not the same.
Again, my child has a swimming attitude, they do not have proper techniques.
