And that is why you should have hired an attorney back then and why you need one now. I understand how this happened to you...you were/are ignorant of our legal system. But in the US ignorance of the law is not a defense.
This CAN be resolved. But you REALLY need to cough up the dollars and hire an attorney in Florida.
Well I did not mention it in this thread, but I did in the other, I did hire an attorney in 2003,
when the case got upgraded from misdemeanor to felony in 2003 and there was a court case, I contacted my bail bondsman and he put me in contact with an attorney, he cost me $3000.
But he did not advice me correctly when trying to return to the U.S for the court case (when I was denied entry into the U.S)
and I was sent back home and missed the court case the following day.
I never skipped bail or skipped the country as people as inferring. I came back to the U.S in 2003 for the court case and had hired an attorney.
but as I was denied entry I missed the court appearance and my attorney stopped helping me.
