The ex wife payed a visit tonight to discuss with Gary about getting the rest of the family resources money from MRDD. She is on the board that approves the money requests. What a conflict of interest!! She was on the board in the past, but was fired due to the fact that she could not drag her drunken' drugged a** out of bed 1/2 the time. So she is well versed in how to fill out the paper work "just right" for approval. The thing I think is funny as all he** is that she has been waiting for the opportunity to screw him for four years now and he is taking the bait & swallowing it whole!!! I don't even have to try for the last laugh, she will end up handing it to me!! My daughter told her not to let the door hit her in the a** on the way out!!!!!!LOL. I was upstairs "monitoring" the conversation. Must of been a Kodak moment-!!

I am calling the prosecutors office tomorrow to see what was decided about me driving the car....I am guessing it was in my favor since the car mysteriously disappeared today. If the prosecutor said I can drive the car since it is my only means of transportation I am going to try to force the car to be brought back or I will just let the insurance drop off. Either way I am still filing the small claims court case.

It is effectively your car and you would get in trouble if it was stolen and you didn't report it stolen since it was under your control. Did he inform you what he did with it? Then he will have to explain what he did with the car. Were the payments and regestration up to date?

That is what I was thinking, since we are not talking what if he thinks I did something with it?? Yes payments & registration are up to date so not repo-d. Yeah, thats all I need is for his drunken ex to take it out and wreck it!! Well.... here I go to the police station one more time, I'll be knowing everyone on a first name basis soon!! ;)

Well, he didn't leave me a note, or do the nanana-booboo dance in front of me, so why would I think anything diff? Right ;)

I am addicted to this thread (and the previous one - though now locked)

Way to go NaeSatt - been there, done that with a psycho/a$$hole ex.

Glad to see things are looking up for you.

(still can't wait for the rest of the story... :D )

I hope so.....Well I ran into my first official a-hole cop at the station tonight  He says I cannot report the car stolen due to the fact that the car is not in my name!? I wanted an official statement taken that the car was no longer in my possession or under my control. He did not want to take a statement until I gave the scenario that if the ex, who needs drunk driving insurance, was driving the car & gets into a wreck, that my insurance co. would not cover the damages. I had to state the fact the ins. was in my name about 4 times!!!! I cannot call ins. co. until tomorrow morning!!! He also said he is Off. Stevens supervisor, and if she were to put anything to the prosecutors office on this matter it would have to go through him first. I'm sorry if he is upset that he hasn't been privy to the town gossip!! I will call prosecutors office in the morning still. I told him I don't know their policy all I know is she read me my rights and took a statement & said what she was going to do with it on Monday morning!!
BTW... thanks for the atta-girl DerbyGirl, I keep trying to keep the gloat thing in check since he who laughs first ends up laughing out the other side of their face (or something like that!!)

Dropped the car off my insurance today, took in copy of the deed to show that he cannot remove my name from the homeowners policy w/out my permission. The woman at the ins. co. was not even going to notify him, the notice will come to me since the ins. was in my name....hmmmmm, should I tell him  As it is now the car is uninsured, I hope the ex is driving it and decides to go get tanked, and runs into a tree or something. I am surprised nobody has looked at the recorders website yet "just to check on things" and tipped him off about the QCD. I almost sure he couldn't keep his mouth shut! The prosecutor is out until tomorrow as well as Ofc. Stevens, so I am in the dark on the car till I talk to one of them. Been a quiet day other than that, it's about time :)
