Well, considering the highest score is 300 and I got 689...

It's amazing that I'm able to get down to only smoking 5 cigarettes a day and I haven't become an alcoholic yet.
OUCH...I think you need a Calgon moment. :p

I scored 966 CJane.
Don't smoke or drink. Wonder why I'm having trouble eating and sleeping?
Because you don't smoke or drink. :p

I would have scored higher if there were multiple check boxes for things like death of a family member, loss of job, etc.

ditto that, i got loans and scholarships for my entire education and didnt have to repay any while in school.
I double ditto that. I didn't pay one dime while in school and even now when I take part time classes at an accredited school I don't have to pay back the loans while I attend (I think it's called a deferrment or something like that).

jobs in my field are NOT secure. They're leaving this area at an amazing rate, and aren't coming back.
If you don't mind, what is your line of work. I used to live in KC (well, overland park) and worked in IT for Sprint. Needless to say, you know how that played out!! lol.

I just added them up as many times as they were revelant, ie: death of a family member for me was a total of 5 equalling 315 just for that one. I went through it, so I added them in with the calculator. That's one reason I scored so high.

Wish there was a space for # of days you weren't allowed to see your kids.

I'm in purchasing/inventory control/distributions. I'm lucky in that the company I work for isn't involved in manufacturing, so it's slightly more secure than if we were... but I've seen our numbers from last year. There's a chance the company won't exist next year and I don't wanna be the last rat on the sinking ship.

Most of the jobs in my field are in the manufacturing industry, and those are the ones that are leaving. My ex is in the same field, and the only way he could find a decent paying position is to agree to travel a minimum of 30% of the time... I can't do that.
