I didnt think the judges got the mad in a small claims court, but if I didnt appear do I still have the right to appeal the case or do I lose that right?
You would lose that right...basically. You NEED to show up for court.

Are you deliberately trying to lose your case? Judges get terribly angry when there a documentation that someone has been served notice of a lawsuit and doesn't bother showing up. Their assumption is that the person who doesn't show up is lazy, guilty or just plain stupid.

Why would you not appear to argue that you do not owe what the landlord claims?
