Well, why were you blamed for the fire?

This is an example of why it makes more sense to add on to a previous post rather than start another one. All of the details are in the previous post.

You still didn't answer my question. Having a BBQ doesn't mean that you caused a fire.

In any case, if you have property insurance, notify your insurance company. Have your mom notify her insurance company.

Why anyone would have $100k liability is behind me.

You're a quick study! That's the answer, I'm just the messenger.

>In any case, if you have property insurance, notify your insurance company.

I don't have one. I don't own the house remember?

>Have your mom notify her insurance company.

She will. I didn't ask you that.

>Why anyone would have $100k liability is behind me.

What does that mean?

Again, my original question... oh never mind....:D

you never answered the questions asked of you either.

you do not need to own a home to have liability insurance.

and since you seem to have such disrespect for those offering you any advice (for free I remind you), I suspect your help fromthis point on will be quite limited.

>You never answered the questions asked of you either.

I did, IT WAS THE BBQ THEY SAID. That was the answer, I'm just the messenger, Pls listen.

>You do not need to own a home to have liability insurance.

She didn't ask me if I had liablity ins. Most people who don't own homes don't have it either.

>and since you seem to have such disrespect for those offering you any advice (for free I remind you),

And my rebuke of your arrogance is free too!

>I suspect your help fromthis point on will be quite limited.

Promise? I hope, I don't like threats

that still doesn;t answer the question. Are you on some sort of drugs by chance?

whatever you say. Smart people have insurance.

OH NO!!! I've been rebuked.

>I suspect your help fromthis point on will be quite limited.

Oh well, too bad, so sad. It's not me being sued so have fun with this judgment following you for the next 20 years.

>that still doesn;t answer the question.

That's because it wasn't in the summons. I'm just the messenger.

>Are you on some sort of drugs by chance?

Never by chance, don't try that, you might get sued.

>whatever you say. Smart people have insurance.

I own a car, I have insurance on it, I'm smart.

>OH NO!!! I've been rebuked.

All for a bargain rate, you lucky dog!

>Oh well, too bad, so sad.

then stop being arrogant if it makes you so sad

>It's not me being sued

You'll get your chance, don't be in such a hurry.

>so have fun with this judgment

You didn't listen, there hasn't been a judgement.

>following you for the next 20 years.

Is that advise? why not 1 year, 5, 30, ohh just pick a number! :D

You don't like the answers, so you delete your questions?

I want to make a comment though. I don't own my house, but I have $100,000 in liability insurance (and I'm thinking that's a bit low).
You have insurance on your car because it's the law.
You don't have other insurance because you're...well, let's say, "not smart"

You senior members seem happy presuming your own questions.

>I want to make a comment though. I don't own my house, but I have $100,000 in liability insurance (and I'm thinking that's a bit low).

Glad you can afford "more" insurance.

>You have insurance on your car because it's the law.

I have more insurance on my car than the law requires. I bet you that is smart.

>You don't have other insurance because you're...well, let's say, "not smart.

"Other" insurance? Why don't they call this mysterious new insurance "smart" insurance instead?

The question is simple, two defendants, separate responses, yes or no? BBQ placement or dousing by water really isn't relevant.

Listen, you senior members seem to be a pretty grumpy, prying lot. Your comments seem presumptuous and arrogant. Treat new folks with a modicum of respect, or ignore them. You all act as if newbie posters come here to irritate you, intruding on your space.

You are the one being presumptuous. You want answers but presume we know the details needed to answer those questions.

I don;t think you have even asked the question you seem to be expecting an answer to let alone the details.

20 years. Haven;t looked it up for your state (I believe that would either be the state of confusion or delusion) but many states have a 10 year limit on an judgment and many allow a renewal so that would make 20 years. That is why I picked 20 and not 5, 10, or 30.

it is obvious you are nothing more than a troll attempting to raise my ire. Too bad. I enjoy allowing trolls like you to continue making a fool of yourself long after others have tired of your idiocy.

Senior member simply means that I talk a lot.
However, considering that this is what I do for a living, I can easily answer your questions if you can answer mine. For some reason, that seems too much to ask.

In any case, a renter's insurance policy for $300k shouldn't cost you more than $10 or $15 each month. It is certainly a lot cheaper than $275k, don't ya think?

Just FYI... I think renter's insurance for $300k would be a bit more. Mine is $25k and it's $14/month.

So worth the peace of mind though.

$300k is the liability amount, not the personal property amount. You're talking about personal property. I'm talking about liability - which is the subject of this thread.
