Update!!

Well when I talked with CPS on Monday they had informed me that there was nothing they could do for me. That the NCP sounds very immature and that it is my job to communicate with him the needs of our child and that I need to educate the other parent on how to take of our child the right way. I couldn't believe what I heard. That day of when the incident occured I called the NCP just about every 2 hours to ask if our child was fed, had anything to drink, diaper changes ect. How much more of communication do I have to do in order to help the other parent understand the needs of our child!?! I don't know what to do.
The hospital contacted CPS after our vist there along with my son's doctor and community health nurse that visits us monthly. The scary thing is if this was an overnight my son might not of made it through this incident. I guess I just need to document everything and if this happens again then take action.
Does anyone have any advice as what to do. Wait and see how things go or take action now. Alos another thing that was weird was when our son was in the hospital I tried calling the NCP parent to find out exactly what all he did,and didn't do with our son on his visit and he didn't answer phone. I called 5 times through out the evening which I thought was strange considering the fact that the moment I saw our son when I went to pick him up I told the NCP that he didn't look right and he was act different then usual. I told the NCP something wasn't right and told the NCP that. He never returned my calls and still hasn't to this day.
What would everyone else do if you were in this situation? The NCP has broken our CO numerous times about issues concerning our son and alcohol usage. We just settled our case back in June 2006 . Is it too soon to seek the assistance of the court? Thank You all so much for your support and advice. I an very greatful to you all. Thank You! :)

If he is violating the court order, there is no reason to wait to go back to court.

i am confused on many things here. number 1 why does a 17 month old need to eat and have his diaper changed every two hours? my husbands 15 month old eats at breakfast lunch and dinner time and thats it, with cups of milk in between (and no juice whatsoever) and gets her diaper changed maybe every 4 hours.

why the heck did dad dress him in those clothes if it were so hot out? i am sure that contributed to his dehydration. perhaps you should supply the food and drinks to dad for the visit next time (not sure why he would change the childs clothes from what you had him in) and maybe write things down for him instead of calling him every two hours during his visit.

i can not imagine why dad has not called you back since the indicident, do you and dad get along? and why did not the hospital contact CPS while your son was still there, then they probably could have done something. after the fact is a little too late.

i personally would be getting some answers from dad!
