I understand that but I can see where my post wasn't clear.

I was addressing her "how do I get him to leave me alone" comment. A restraining order can keep him from contacting her - but it won't prevent contact by Child Services if he makes additional complaints.

Thanks for making this clearer.
Welcome. I just didn't want ANYONE thinking that a restraining order would prevent him from calling CSB/CPS/whatever they call it in Franklin County.

I am still curious about the ex's relationship to the son. I find it odd that CPS would allow him to watch the boy.
It would be just like a manipulative person to somehow convince someone like the OP that they are not allowed to remove the child from the home until CPS has done an investigation. That is why she needs help from someplace like a women's shelter.

Agreed.

I question what has been posted and believe there must be more to the story. I know in Michigan CPS will often temporarily remove children from a home during an investigation but will NOT place the child with the one who has filed a complaint.
